Welcome to the beach house!

Lodging in this fabulous Lake Almanor home features five bedrooms and three full bathrooms. We are located in the hot fishing area and banana belt of Lake Almanor, known as Hamilton Branch. Rental of this property includes the use of the dock and two buoys, which makes it perfect for all of your lake recreation. The home comfortably sleeps 10 people, and we will consider well-behaved pets.

As you pull in the driveway off Lake Almanor Drive, you will find plenty of level parking for your autos and boat trailers. When you come down the walkway of the home, you will enter the enclosed front porch. Straight ahead is the welcoming glass paneled front door. Inside the patio on your left, are seating and dining areas and a brick, one-of-a-kind, fully adjustable, charcoal BBQ. Out the glass sliding door is another patio area with a propane BBQ and the lawn leading to the lake. The front porch is a nice place to BBQ a delicious meal, enjoy cocktail hour and hang out. It gets a great breeze off the lake and stays cool in the summer.

Kitchen and Common Areas

Once you enter the home, you’ll be struck by the awesome lake views from the wall of windows in the great room. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for many chefs to cook in, with a propane cooktop and convection oven, convection microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, and all the essentials. The massive 5’ x 10’ quartzite island has seating for four, and provides room for the whole gang to hang out. Service for 10, and outdoor dinnerware is provided. There is a lighted pantry behind one of the sliding blue barn doors. You will have plenty of room to store your food.

Off the living area is a door to the furnished covered balcony that overlooks the yard and lake. The balcony is a wonderful spot to capture the views and enjoy your morning coffee, evening refreshments and to keep an eye on wildlife or the activities below.

In the great room are sofas, end tables, a coffee table, ottoman, a dining table & chairs and a large wall-hung smart TV. Behind the other blue sliding door, you will see the spiral stairs that lead to the lower level.

On the main floor you will also find a fully equipped laundry room with washer, dryer, sink, iron, ironing board and a counter for folding clothes.

On the lower level, the game room also offers spectacular lake views. The game room is equipped with a custom lit dartboard which has a laser toe line and score board, Foosball, board games, puzzles, a game table and a couple of twin day beds for reading or lounging on.

There is a door from the game room that leads outside to another patio, the lawn, the beach and the lake.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Located on the main floor is the master bedroom which has a California king bed. This is a large bedroom that has a closet, dresser, desk and a wall-hung smart TV. It also has a door leading to the balcony. The en-suite bathroom has a custom walk-in tile shower and beautiful hand crafted walnut cabinetry.

Bedroom Two has a queen sized bed with drawers underneath, and nightstands and a closet.

Bedroom Three has a queen sized bed, nightstands, luggage rack and a small dresser.

Bedroom Four has a double/full sized bed, nightstands and a luggage rack.

There is a closet in the hall just outside the doorways of Bedrooms Three and Four that the occupants can easily share for their hanging clothes.

Also in this hall is a large dorm style bathroom that “rocks.” The water closet and shower/changing area each have their own locking doors off the large vanity area, so it is easy for several people to use the space at once. This bathroom has a concrete counter, a real rock sink, and custom brass and copper fixtures & towel bars. It has a large walk-in, rock and tile shower.

Bedroom Five is on the lower floor, and has a queen sized bed and a closet, and plenty of built in countertops for suitcases. This room has a small TV and DVD player. There is also a full bathroom with a tub/shower on this level.
